NOMAE is a small magnetic tracker that sits on a gym machine's weight stack and counts reps live in a free iPhone app. It's made by NOMAE FIT, a one-person business in Brisbane.

The facts

What it is: a glass bead blasted aluminium tracker with four magnets, Bluetooth and USB-C charging. No screen, no buttons.
Works with: selectorised machines with a steel weight stack and a pin. Not barbells or dumbbells.
Price: A$249, or A$199 early bird until 4 November. Free shipping in Australia.
Orders: open Wednesday 28 October at 7 pm Brisbane time. The first 4 trackers are ready and ship within 2 business days of your order. After that, each one is made to order and ships 8 to 12 days after you order.
App: NOMAE for iPhone, free. Coach, an AI training partner, is an optional subscription.
Status: the tracker is in final testing on real gym machines. Accuracy results will be published on this site.
