NOMAE FIT is the Brisbane-based business behind NOMAE, a magnetic rep tracker for gym machines and its free companion app.
Who we are
NOMAE FIT is run by Eamon Thomas, a sole trader in Brisbane. The NOMAE tracker and NOMAE app are our products. ABN 46 229 118 548, which you can look up on the Australian Business Register.
What we make
The NOMAE tracker is a glass bead blasted aluminium device with no screen and no buttons. You attach it to the top plate of a selectorised machine's steel weight stack, where it holds on magnetically. As you lift, it counts your reps live in the NOMAE app on your iPhone. It charges over USB-C.
The NOMAE app is the tracker's screen, and a full gym log on its own: plans built for your gym from a few questions, one-tap set logging with last time's numbers, a rest timer, records, progress charts, Apple Health and a voice coach. The app is with Apple for review. It's free to download and use, with no account needed to train; Coach is an optional subscription.
Why
Counting reps and writing down sets gets in the way of training. NOMAE hands that job to the tracker and your phone: each rep shows up live, the set is checked again when you end it, and it's saved to your workout with how far the weight travelled on each rep. Nothing to wear and nothing to write down.
Where it's up to
The app is with Apple for review. Prototypes of the tracker are built and it's being tested on real gym machines. Orders open Wednesday 28 October at 7 pm Brisbane time. The first 4 trackers are ready and ship within 2 business days of your order. After that, each one is made to order and ships 8 to 12 days after you order. The details are in the terms of sale.

NOMAE FIT ships NOMAE products in Australia first. If you're somewhere else, email [email protected] and we'll tell you when we ship to you.
Your data
Your workout history stays on your phone and is not synced. When you message Coach, the optional AI in the app, the training details it needs to answer are sent with your message. An account is needed for your orders, and for Friends and Coach in the app. The privacy policy sets out exactly what we handle.
