Fit questions.
What does it stick to?
Flat steel that moves with the weight: usually the top plate of a weight stack, or the moving carriage or arm of a plate-loaded machine. Aluminium or plastic-covered parts won't hold a magnet.
What if the stack is behind a cover?
Some machines hide the stack behind a shroud. If there's no steel you can reach on the moving part, there's nowhere safe to put the tracker. Log that machine by hand.
Do I need permission from my gym?
It's a small magnet that sits on the stack and comes off in a second, but gyms set their own rules. If you're unsure, ask the front desk.
Is the count accurate?
We're measuring that now against sets counted by hand, on real machines, and will publish the results before it ships. Every count can be fixed in a tap, and the tracker's own number is kept.
