Your NOMAE guide

From box to first set. NOMAE attaches to the moving steel weight stack of a compatible gym machine and connects to the NOMAE app.

NOMAE hardware is still being finalised. These are general setup instructions; follow any updated instructions included with your device.

01 / Charge the tracker

Connect NOMAE using a USB-C cable and a standard 5 V USB power source. Disconnect it before attaching it to gym equipment. Never charge the tracker while it is in use on a machine.

02 / Open the NOMAE app

Check NOMAE app availability. On the Home screen, use the tracker setup card, or go to Settings → Tracker. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

03 / Pair your tracker

Follow the app's pairing prompts. Keep NOMAE near your phone during setup. Once connected, follow the still-position check and test-rep guidance shown in the app.

04 / Attach to a compatible machine

Use a stable, accessible steel surface on the moving weight stack of a selectorised gym machine. Clean and dry the contact area, then place the magnetic base flat against the steel. Check that it holds firmly before starting a set.

Keep NOMAE away from guide rails, weight-stack pins, pulleys, cables and other pinch points. The tracker must move with the stack without striking anything. If it rocks, slides or can fall off, remove it and choose a safer position. Do not use it on free weights or on a machine without a secure mounting position.

05 / Track a set

In the app, start a workout and select your exercise. Use the connected tracker to record the set, perform a controlled test rep, then continue training. After your set, review the recorded reps and save the result to your workout.

06 / Check and save your results

Rep counts may need correction. Use the + or − controls on a set result if a rep was missed or added, then confirm the adjustment. You can also log workouts manually when you are not using the tracker.
