NOMAE is a rechargeable magnetic tracker designed for compatible gym machines with moving steel weight stacks. It sends motion readings over Bluetooth to the free NOMAE iPhone app, which counts reps live and helps record workouts.

## What does the NOMAE tracker do?

Attach the tracker to a safe, accessible part of a compatible moving weight stack. During a set, the iPhone app receives movement readings, counts reps, and helps you compare sets across workouts. The tracker does not know which weight you selected; you enter the weight in the app. Count accuracy and retention on production hardware are still being checked, so there is no published accuracy percentage.

## Which gym machines does it work with?

NOMAE is designed first for pin-selected steel weight stacks, such as many lat pulldown, chest press, leg extension and seated row machines. The exercise name alone does not guarantee compatibility. The attachment must be secure and must not obstruct any moving parts. Check the [gym-machine compatibility guide](https://nomae.com.au/fit) before using it. Plate-loaded and other machine designs are still being tested.

## What is the difference between NOMAE and NOMAE FIT?

NOMAE is the name of the tracker and companion app. NOMAE FIT is the Australian sole trader business based in Brisbane behind the product. See [who makes NOMAE](https://nomae.com.au/about) and [how to contact support](https://nomae.com.au/support).

## How much does it cost in Australia?

The announced hardware price is A$199 early bird until 4 November, then A$249. Free tracked shipping is planned within Australia. The core counting and logging features do not need a subscription; Coach is an optional paid service. Pricing and availability are also shown on the [tracker page](https://nomae.com.au/tracker).

## Can I get it now?

The free [NOMAE iPhone app](https://nomae.com.au/app) is publicly available. Hardware checkout is currently closed while final testing and compliance work continue. Check the tracker page for availability updates.
